L'Opération M35

We got a tip from one of our friends from the world that’s called NSU, concerning one of the points of improvement on our Wankel-engines; the spark plugs! The original Beru and Bosch plugs aren’t too easy to find and mostly at a high price. They tend to get greasy and are quite difficult to clean. On the Mazda RX7 other, more modern spark plugs are used and now we use these on the M35 as well. We (No. 467 and No. 122) had some adaptors made to fit the smaller NGK BR10ET plug in the original housing.

We used them on No. 83; what a difference. The engine runs more smoothly and picks up revs easier, the stronger spark provides a better combustion. Also it starts even better than it already did. After a few short drives the plug doesn’t foul and even if it would: the electrodes are easily reached for cleaning. If things really go crazy, just throw them away and buy a new set at around 15 to 20 Euro.

The price of the adaptors won’t kill you either, 10,- Euro per 2. We’ll be happy to send them to you, please ask for the postal rates or just come over and pick them up......
