Here are some pictures of how the car was found in '88 in France. It was also part of the collection. On top of that it was the first M35 I sold in la Nouvelle Opération and also in a very nice way. The new owner came along to have a look at my MEP X2-racing cars. At the moment he arrived, I came driving up with my M35. I had just done a testdrive with a NSU Ro80-enthousiast.
We did have a look at the MEPs, but quickly it became apparent that he had fallen in love with the M35. Because of the authenticity, its solid condition and the fact that it's the second-youngest known, he decided it was going to be No. 470.
The authentic condition is being appreciated by a growing number of people, judging the article we mentioned in an earlier post and this response at the French Ami-forum.
This picture has been taken when I took No. 470 from Friesland to my garage. At the Afsluitdijk (Enclosure Dam) two monuments encountered. (the monument shows the place were the dam was closed).
