No. 447 was part of the collection in the end, but got there with a nice detour. It was in the Grenoble carmuseum, on top of a hill.
On one of his quests in the eighties the collector visited the museum and took some pictures of the M35. As he assumed that the car wouldn't be for sale, he secretly slid a business card in the ashtray.
The museum was closed early this century and the cars were sold. The M35 was bought by a Dutchman living in France and he found the card. To make a long story short, the M35 went to the north of Holland.
It has been at Citromobile 2011 and got a lot of attention, this clip http://youtu.be/8kzRisZ7VMw being a witness of that. It got sold there and is currently enjoyed in Germany. The top picture shows No. 447 at an oldtimermeeting in Essen.
