During a photoshoot with No. 473 in Paris, we got the opportunity to have the last-built M35 next to No. 1. It's in Citroëns Conservatoire. While the photographer was busy, I got the chance to check No. 1 and I lifted the floormat...
What the....; it's No. 4! Nevertheless the oldest complete M35 known in existence, so our goal to have the two extremities next to eachother was reached.
A funny detail are the plastic caps on the front seats, where probably head-rest could be fitted. Head-rests were never visible onthe pictures prvided by Citroën, except for the pre-series dark-coloured model shown in the press releases.
